New Reviews of Two Poorly Rated State Judges

June 28, 2013

A Colorado County Court Judge and Pennsylvania District Court Judge were recently reviewed on Courtroom Insight.  Both judges were rated 1.0 out of 5.0 in nearly every available category including Legal Ability, Objectivity and Impartiality, and Demeanor.  Here’s a short preview of the reviews:

Review of Colorado Court Magistrate Beth Faragher

Denver County Court

She seemed to get lost in detail and spent time debating the award of damages for an item not even included in the lawsuit (bath tile.)

I don’t know what motivates this judge but it isn’t the pursuit of justice. I walked out of her courtroom feeling as though I was escaping the Land of Oz.

Review of Pennsylvania District Court Magistrate Maggie Snow

Bucks County District Court

Judge did not isolate critical issues, did not apply law, cases or rules when making judgement.

This judge is unable to appear neutral when the plaintiff is the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania.

This judge did not appear professional when she was unable to consider the defense’s professional title.
