HeinOnline (HOL), a premier online research platform, and Courtroom Insight (CI), the leading legal knowledge management solution, have partnered to integrate legal data. Now, HOL’s authors’ profile pages include a CI identifier to denote expert witness status. The clickable identifier allows legal researchers to access additional legal data on the expert, such as their resume/CV, biography, and discipline. Additionally, mutual customers may access reviews, challenges, judicial opinions, and more. In total, over 6,300 authors have been identified as expert witnesses.
Similarly, CI’s expert witness profiles will contain a list of the author’s HeinOnline articles. Mutual customers may click the HOL link will direct them to their website. Overall, the collaboration will improve legal research by connecting legal data between systems.
