CI Wrapped 2025: A Year of Data Innovation & Growth

Throughout 2025, Courtroom Insight (“CI”) invested heavily in the infrastructure, partnerships, and talent necessary to support the next chapter of our growth. The results speak for themselves—expanded offerings, new AI capabilities, and continued leadership in legal professional and matter data. As we reflect on the year, we’re proud to share the achievements that set the stage for 2026.

Here’s a look back at the moments that defined CI in 2025.

A Bigger, Smarter Directory Platform

1 New Solution: The Comprehensive CI Directory

This year, we officially launched our comprehensive CI Directory, a consolidated and expanded evolution of our prior siloed flagship Directories. Built on our CSC Method (Clean, Structured, Connected), the new solution provides unprecedented access to professional intelligence—now enabling clients with a single-source-of-truth for all legal professionals in one place.

With this launch, the CI Directory reached 1.3 Million total legal professional profiles, including:

  • 693,000 Lawyers
  • 518,000 Expert Witnesses
  • 97,000 Judges
  • 49,000 Neutrals (Arbitrators & Mediators)

Enriched Matter Intelligence—Now Automated

1 New AI Feature: CI Narratives

CI Matter Connector enriched 278,588 client matters this year—strengthening the way law firms unify and leverage their internal data. Key enrichments include legal professional data and CI Narratives, our newest AI-powered feature. CI Narratives automatically drafts customizable matter narratives, written in a firm’s cadence, empowering Marketing, Business Development, and Library teams with the information they need to bolster their RFPs and Pitches.

Each enrichment helps firms transform fragmented matter data into actionable context.

Expanding Through Strategic Partnerships

2 New Integration Partners

2025 marked a major step forward in our integration strategy, thanks to two new integrations:

  • Bloomberg Law — Unlocking deeper insights for firms through direct access to Bloomberg Law’s docket data within the CI Directory and CI Matter Connector.
  • Entegrata — Enabling firms to access CI’s legal professional and matter intelligence directly within Entegrata’s data lakehouse.

Together, these integrations continue to strengthen CI as the single-source-of-truth for connected legal professional and matter intelligence.

A Team Built for the Future

6 New Hires

This year, we welcomed six new team members across data, client solutions, product, and sales—growing our organization to support the next stage of our growth.

We also celebrated major leadership expansions:

  • Justin Brownstone, Chief Operating Officer
  • Richard Levis-Fitzgerald, Vice President of Sales
  • Lauren Odom, Director of Client Solutions

Their expertise, vision, and energy have shaped the direction of our product, strengthened our client relationships, and accelerated our long-term growth strategy.

Looking Ahead to 2026

If 2025 was the year of building, 2026 will be the year of scaling. We’re entering the new year with an expanded platform, a strengthened team, and a renewed commitment to elevating data quality and connection across the legal industry.

Thank you to our customers, partners, and community for being part of the journey.

We can’t wait to share what’s coming next.
