The CI Company Directory is a company directory built specifically for law firms. Firm Connections to In-House Counsel<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

The CI People Directory already surfaces a firm\u2019s internal reviews and connections to lawyers, judges, expert witnesses, mediators, and arbitrators. The Company Directory extends that to the organization level: it analyzes lawyers\u2019 work and education history to surface connections between your firm and companies across the market, including companies you haven\u2019t worked with (yet!).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

That includes paths into a target\u2019s in-house counsel team. A shared office, a shared law school class, or a firm alum who has gone in-house is the warmest introduction a pitch team can get \u2014 and the Company Directory surfaces all three.<\/p>\n\n\n

Corporate Hierarchies, Without the Guesswork<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Company records go stale fast: acquisitions, mergers, and rebrands can outdate a record within months of it being created. The Company Directory pulls hierarchy and firmographic data from CI\u2019s data pipeline on a fixed monthly refresh cycle, so firms are working from a current org chart instead of one somebody compiled by hand two years ago.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Drill into any organization and you\u2019ll see its full subsidiary structure, and from there, into each subsidiary\u2019s own lawyers and caseload. Every company and lawyer profile in the Company Directory includes a litigation tab, so a caseload assessment is one click away from any org chart or connection you\u2019re already looking at. Attorney rosters built from self-reported bios, resumes, and LinkedIn profiles go stale the moment someone changes firms, and nothing stops an out-of-date or misattributed listing from sitting in a directory indefinitely. To keep the Company Directory\u2019s rosters current, CI\u2019s pipeline cross-references attorney records directly against each firm\u2019s own website rather than relying on self-reported data alone.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Attorneys whose records are confirmed against their firm\u2019s website carry a firm-verified badge, and that badge shows up directly in the product. A toggle on both the company and lawyer search pages lets users filter to firm-verified biographies only, screening out attorneys who may no longer be active at the target firm \u2014 so you know who is actually there today before you name a contact in an RFP or map a target\u2019s outside counsel roster.<\/p>\n\n\n
