Specifically, the platform will host the law firm&#8217;s legal data regarding experts, arbitrators and judges.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The firm&#8217;s litigation team recognized a need to better manage the firm&#8217;s internal legal data. In particular, data regarding attorneys&#8217; relationships with experts, arbitrators, and judges. \u201cWe [needed] to [find an alternative to] reading firm-wide emails asking for information about prior experiences working with different individuals,\u201d explained Kenneth W. Taber, Pillsbury&#8217;s co-head of litigation. \u201cCourtroom Insight provides a superior alternative.&#8221;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Additionally, Lisa Gianakos, Pillsbury\u2019s Director of Knowledge Management, commented on the partnership: \u201cI\u2019m always looking for new technologies and methods to improve knowledge sharing within our organization. Courtroom Insight has been on my radar for some time now, and with our litigation group\u2019s support of the product, it was the right time to move forward. While we have systems that help us identify relationships, there was no way to see all of that in a simple and easy to use interface, like Courtroom Insight. By seeding the system with known relationships found in systems like CRM and docketing, we have a great jump start. Combined with the crowd-sourced approach and ability to enhance details on the fly with comments and ratings, I believe this solution will greatly enhance our attorneys\u2019 ability to leverage the knowledge and experience of their colleagues.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Lastly, Mark Torchiana, Courtroom Insight CEO, stated, \u201cOur company is eager to work alongside Pillsbury\u2019s knowledge management group to install our solution for the Pillsbury litigation team.
