From 2017 to 2018, Courtroom Insight, Daubert Tracker, and Expert Witness Profiler conducted a survey on expert witness research. In sum, the survey aimed to developed a better understanding of common research and retention techniques. Overall, 580 legal professionals, including attorneys, law librarians and paralegals, participated the survey. Unfortunately, the survey revealed the sad reality of expert witness research workflows.
