Through New MCP in Harvey’s Connector Library
The CI MCP Server integration with Harvey enables lawyers to assess legal professionals and matter experiences directly within Harvey.
Courtroom Insight (CI), the leading provider of connected legal professional and matter intelligence, today announced a new connector with Harvey, the leading legal operating system for legal and professional services. The connector is now generally available through Harvey’s Connector Library, a growing repository of tools that legal teams rely on. The connector brings CI’s verified people and matter data, combined with firms’ own internal records, directly into Harvey. Lawyers can now assess expert witnesses, arbitrators, judges, and other lawyers, and draft data-backed pitches, without leaving the platform.
With the Courtroom Insight and Harvey integration, lawyers can:
- Assess legal professionals: Evaluate expert witnesses, arbitrators, judges, and opposing counsel using firm records alongside CI’s proprietary people data, including expert retentions, Daubert Challenge outcomes, and private internal reviews.
- Draft data-backed pitches: Surface the firm’s prior experience and connections to client organizations to build pitches for new opportunities grounded in verified relationship and matter history.
- Connect people to matters: See who worked on what, with whom, and in front of whom, with every legal professional and matter tied to a unique CI Identifier.
The result: faster, better-informed decisions on who to retain, who’s on the other side, and how to win the next engagement, all within Harvey.
The connector also serves the Data Innovation, Knowledge Management, and Business Development teams that support those lawyers, reducing manual research requests and giving firms’ AI investments the clean, connected data they need to produce reliable outputs.
“Client and business development decisions are only as good as the data behind them. Bringing the CI Connector to Harvey puts clean, structured people and matter data exactly where lawyers already work.” – Nate Schlein, Head of Product Business Development at Harvey.
“When researching people and matter experiences, lawyers historically would send firmwide ‘Pardon the Interruption’ emails or request assistance from their business support teams. Having this information available within Harvey means lawyers get those answers in minutes, not days.” — Mark Torchiana, CEO and Co-Founder of Courtroom Insight
As with all CI data delivery, the CI MCP Server is read-only and maintains customers’ existing privacy preferences. Like every connector in the Connector Library, it has been reviewed by Harvey’s Security & Trust team. Details are available at trust.harvey.ai. Firms that prefer not to connect internal records can still use the integration with CI’s proprietary people and matter data.
Harvey’s Connector Library is a curated set of security-reviewed integrations spanning document management, research platforms, deal rooms, email, contract lifecycle management, and business systems. Each connector is vetted by Harvey’s Security & Trust team before it’s made available to customers.
The Harvey integration is available to joint CI and Harvey customers, effective as of today. Joint customers can enable it through their Harvey admin settings. Interested firms may schedule a demo directly with CI’s Sales Team at sales@courtroominsight.com.
